American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification-BL r.24 Stay Certified. Stay Confident. Keep Teaching. Keep your American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification current while sharpening the skills and teaching practices you rely on to prepare the next generation of lifeguards. This blended learning recertification course combines the flexibility of online learning with hands-on, instructor-led training. Participants will review and reinforce essential lifeguarding skills, participate in an in-water practice and skills-polishing session, practice teaching, and review current American Red Cross administrative policies and procedures. The r.24 blended learning format allows participants to complete the online portion at their own pace before attending the in-person session. The online experience also uses adaptive learning, allowing participants who demonstrate knowledge of certain content to move through material more efficiently. This course is designed for current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructors who need to recertify their instructor credential. Successful completion provides the applicable American Red Cross certification, with digital certification available through the Red Cross.
